Cara Clophus Wright is a Texas A&M graduate with a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston and an LL.M. in Energy & Natural Resources Law from the University of Oklahoma. She is Board Certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on upstream and midstream oil and gas matters, complex commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and estate and probate matters. Cara previously served as in‑house counsel for a major oil company, where she supported exploration, supply chain, new ventures, and cross‑border transactional work. Cara is known for her practical approach, deep industry knowledge, and commitment to delivering clear, effective solutions that move clients forward.
