WANDA GREATHOUSE HOLLOWAY

Wanda has extensive experience as both outside and in-house counsel for leading global companies. Her experience allows her to bring a practical viewpoint to assist clients in making the best business decisions while effectively managing legal risks. In the words of key clients, she “gets it,” and she has become the go-to person for numerous major employers as a result.

Wanda co-founded Greathouse Holloway McFadden Trachtenberg out of a desire to build a firm focused on serving clients in the most valuable, effective and practical way and to do so within a business model that allows for unrivaled flexibility on pricing and staffing. Her in-house experience (at Compaq/HP and GTE/Verizon), coupled with having been a partner and significant client relationship leader at other major global law firms, has served her well in understanding - and anticipating - client needs. It also has driven her passion for finding innovative ways to help clients succeed not only in meeting the constant challenge to do more with limited resources (and to do it better and faster) but also to make the most of the opportunities to be more strategic and contribute more to the success of their businesses. As a result, the GHM team’s vision and experience - as well as the firm’s culture and reward structure - are steadfastly focused on values that inure directly to the benefit of the firm’s clients. Wanda and her colleagues are focused on delivering value, collaborating seamlessly for the right results, and driving continuous improvement. Wanda has partnered with major clients to effectively manage litigation and related risk management strategies on a comprehensive basis, and she has worked closely with clients on "bet the company" high-profile cases, including matters involving senior management, matters commanding board of directors or shareholder attention, and class/collective actions. She has handled numerous administrative matters before the EEOC, NLRB, OSHA, OFCCP, DOL, and other federal and state agencies.  Clients regularly turn to Wanda as a valuable partner in finding the right solutions to strategic and day- to-day employment law issues.
